DAY 3 Singapore

DAYS 4 and 5 Singapore and Cairns

Enjoy a leisurely morning on day 4, before flying to Cairns, gateway to Australia’s incredible Great Barrier Reef. You will arrive into Cairns on the morning of day 5.

DAY 6 Cairns

Explore a whole new world today on our included trip by catamaran to the outer Great Barrier Reef. Marine life comes incredibly close to the platform and you can also view the reef from a semi-submersible. Alternatively, you can go snorkelling amongst this amazing underwater world – equipment and guidance is provided. Lunch is also included on today’s tour.

DAY 7 Cairns

You can spend today at leisure. We also offer a range of optional excursions, including a visit to Daintree Rainforest or a ride on the Kuranda Railway.

DAY 8 Melbourne

After your flight to Melbourne join our included city tour to visit the site of Captain Cook’s cottage and catch a glimpse of the old gaol where the notorious outlaw Ned Kelly was executed.

DAYS 9 and 10 Melbourne

You have two free days to explore Melbourne. You might choose to join our optional excursion to Phillip Island, home to one of the largest colonies of little penguins in the world. Every sunset, these creatures emerge from the sea and waddle across the beach to their sand dune burrows in a delightful ‘penguin parade’.

DAY 11 Sydney

You’ve a free morning before flying to Sydney for a four-night stay. On an included tour you’ll see the Sydney Opera House, Bondi Beach, Darling Harbour and more.

DAYS 12-14 Sydney

Enjoy three free days in Sydney. A range of optional excursions will be on offer, including a harbour cruise, a scenic helicopter flight over Sydney Harbour and visits to the Blue Mountains and Featherdale Wildlife Park.

We also offer an overnight trip on day 13 to Australia’s Red Centre. You’ll visit the Kata Tjuta rock domes (the Olgas), and at sunset you’ll visit Uluru (Ayers Rock). Next morning you revisit Uluru as the sun rises. You’ll also tour the base of the rock and see rock paintings.

DAY 15 Queenstown

You’ll leave Australia this morning and fly to Queenstown in New Zealand, for a three-night stay. Enjoy an orientation tour on arrival. This evening, why not enjoy an optional dinner cruise on Lake Wakatipu aboard the TSS Earnslaw steamship to Walter Peak.

DAY 16 Milford Sound

DAY 17 Queenstown

Queenstown offers plenty of options if you’re feeling adventurous on this day of leisure – from bungy jumping and rafting to skydiving. This evening you may choose to join an optional stargazing experience with dinner.

DAY 18 Franz Josef Glacier

The road through the Westland National Park has to be one of the most scenic ever built. Your journey continues as you travel north to the magnificent scenery of the Franz Josef and Fox Glacier regions. Why not take an optional helicopter flight over the glacier (weather permitting).

DAY 19 Christchurch

You’ll travel to Christchurch today – which you may choose to enjoy on an optional journey on the TranzAlpine train, which offers spectacular views of the Southern Alps. On arrival in Christchurch enjoy a city tour.

DAY 20 Rotorua

The emerald-green North Island was shaped by the fire of volcanoes, and evidence of this remains in the thermal springs surrounding Rotorua, which is your destination today. This evening, experience a traditional Maori concert and sample a ‘hangi’, which is a meal cooked by steam underground.

DAY 21 Rotorua

During a free day in Rotorua we offer a range of optional excursions. You could choose to board a float plane or helicopter to Mount Tarawera, or perhaps you’ll choose to take a tour of Hobbiton, the location created for the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit films.

DAY 22 Auckland

Boiling mud pools and spouting geysers add a touch drama today on our included visit to Te Puia Thermal Reserve. Later, you’ll head to Auckland, stopping at the world-famous Waitomo Caves en route – a labyrinth of limestone caverns illuminated by glow worms. We include a city tour of Auckland on arrival.
