Le Phare is your main hub for social activity. This bar is open late into the night and located centrally in the resort. Its family-friendly, but with intimate, cosy nooks where you wont get disturbed by other peoples kids.

Location

La Charente-Maritime is the name of this town in western France, close to La Rochelle. There are plenty of attractions to visit nearby. The long sandy beach, overlooked by the tall pine trees of La Coubre Forest is one of the most popular draws of the area, but you can easily also take a trip to Courdouan Lighthouse, Fort Boyard, or Palmyre Zoo, which the kids will love.

If you fancy sampling the local tipples, you can take a vineyard or distillery tour. The Bordeaux wine and cognac are produced nearby.
