    Day at leisure to explore the city. Visit the CNTower, the tallest free-standing structure in thewestern hemisphere. (N)

    Day 3: Toronto ¢ Niagara Falls

    Travel along the shores of Lake Ontario untilyou reach Niagara-on-the-Lake, the bestpreserved19th-century town in North Americaand the first capital of Upper Canada. Continueto Niagara Falls and enjoy the use of a NiagaraFalls Adventure Pass, which includes many ofthe most popular attractions and avoids longqueues. Stay at the Hilton Fallsview Hotel for1 night.     Day 4: Niagara Falls ¢ Algonquin Park

    Drive north past Toronto to Algonquin Park.En route, take a detour via the Muskokalake region for a picturesque drive. Arrive inAlgonquin Park and stay at the Killarney Lodgefor 2 nights. (D)

    Day 5: Algonquin Park

    Spend the day hiking, observing wildlife andcanoeing. We also recommend visiting theAlgonquin Logging Museum and the visitorcentre. (B, L, D)

    Day 7: Ottawa

    Spend the day exploring the city. Many of thecity™s attractions are within sight of ParliamentHill. Spend time at the Locks of Rideau Canal,a short distance from downtown and visit theCanadian Museum of History. (N)

    Day 8: Ottawa ¢ Mont Tremblant

    Head north east this morning to the jewel ofthe Laurentians, Mont Tremblant “ a Europeanstyleall-season resort village. En route, visitOmega Park in Montebello, where you will seeendemic wildlife. Activities at Mont Tremblantinclude hiking, biking, kayaking or a helicoptertour. Stay at the Fairmont Tremblant for 1night. (N)

    Day 9: Mont Tremblant ¢ Quebec City

    Travel from Mont Tremblant to Quebec City,enjoying the beautiful scenery. Stop for lunchat the historic city of Trois Rivieres beforedriving along the picturesque Chemin duRoy to Quebec City. Stay at the Hotel ManoirVictoria for 2 nights. (N)

    Day 10: Quebec City

    Take an included guided tour of the city onfoot, following the cobblestone streets tothe fortified city wall, the only one of its kindin North America. Take a stroll around theartisan shops, cafes, landscaped parks andmonuments. (N)

    Day 11: Quebec City ¢ Montreal

    Follow the St Lawrence river, passing rurallandscapes of forests and rich pastures dottedwith tiny villages that extend to Montreal.En route, stop in Drummondville to visit theVillage Qu©b©cois d’Antan, a reconstructionof a French colonial village. Stay at Le Saint-Sulpice for 2 nights. (N)

    Day 12: Montreal

    Day at leisure to explore the city at your ownpace. Highlights include the Notre DameBasilica in Old Montreal, the French Quarter,the Olympic Park, McGill University and apanoramic view from a viewpoint on top ofMont Royal.     Day 13: Montreal ¢ Kingston

    Travel south to Kingston, stopping en routeat Upper Canada Village in Morrisburg, a reconstructed 1860™s village. Before reachingKingston, stop at Gananoque to join a 1-hourcruise around the 1,000 Islands. On arrival inKingston, the former capital of Canada, visit theKingston Mills Lockstation to see the four locks,the point where Lake Ontario flows into theSt Lawrence river.     Day 14: Kingston ¢ Toronto

    Today, visit Fort Henry National Historic Site, aliving museum of military life, before stoppingin Peterborough, home to the world™s highestlift locks. Continue to Toronto and stay at theHilton Toronto for 1 night. (B)
