Full Itinerary:
Day 1 Fly to Vancouver
Arrive into Vancouver International airport and make your way independently to your chosen hotel for the night. The city is perched on the glittering Pacific Coast with the majestic Coastal Mountain backdrop making for the perfect destination to start your adventure. Spend the rest of the day exploring this magnificent city.
Day 2 – Vancouver
Nestled perfectly between the Pacific coast and Coastal Mountain Range, your hotel is an ideal base to discover the top attractions, enjoy the vibrant night life in the downtown area or even head over to Vancouver Island. This city offers both all the amenities of a world class city and outstanding outdoor adventure opportunities.
Day 3 – Alaska Cruise
Arrive at the cruise terminal in Vancouver’s wonderful Canada Palace. Check in to your stateroom for the next 7 days at sea on a journey of discovery to Alaska.
Day 4 – Cruising the Inside Passage
The Inside Passage is an enchanting scenic waterway stretching from Vancouver all the way up to Alaska, including some of Alaska’s beautiful islands that you will see along the way.
Day 5 – Tracy Arm en route to Juneau, Alaska
Today you will cruise along Tracy Arm where you will see the majestic Sawyer Glacier. You continue south east to onto Juneau, Alaska’s capital city where you will enjoy your first stop.
Day 6 – Skagway, Alaska
Known as the best preserved Gold Rush town, Skagway is a very historical town with so much history and local charm to discover. Spend the day discovering the enchanting Gold Rush story and visiting the wonderful historical buildings that the gold prospectors built.
Day 7 – Glacier Bay
You will never forget the sound of the glaciers calving as it sends a hush through the whole ship and you take in the enormous cliff-flanked fjords and remarkable wilderness. Enjoy a day of cruising through Glacier Bay which is a wildlife lovers dream with humpback and killer whales breaching the water below.
Day 8 – Ketchikan, Alaska
Circled by lush green landscape and with evergreen mountains sprouting out of the waters, the surrounding area is breathtakingly beautiful due to the abundant rainfall of the rainforest environment. Explore the historical town.
Day 9 – Cruising the Inside Passage
Returning back to the city you will cruise the scenic Inside Passage again and keep your eyes peeled for the enchanting wildlife that call this coastline home.
Day 10 – Disembark your cruise
Your cruise arrives back into port in the early morning. Upon arrival in Vancouver, transfer independently to your hotel where you will spend the next 2 days. Vancouver is known as one of the most liveable cities in the world, and you will see why when you take a stroll around the city. Explore the city on a bicycle or jump aboard on the hop-on/hop-off bus tour. Take a visit to Gastown popular for its unique eateries and charming shops and pubs. Overnight in Vancouver.
Day 11 – Vancouver
Vancouver has so much to offer. Why not relax on the beach or take this last day as an opportunity to head to Whistler or Victoria, on Vancouver Island?!
Day 12 – Fly home
This morning you have your final chance for some world class shopping or sightseeing before you head back to Vancouver airport for your return flight home
