Made up of hundreds of paradise islands, each with its own atmosphere and character, the Caribbean is a cruisers dream. Florida’s coast is the main gateway to this exotic region and it makes the perfect place to spend a few days prior to your voyage. Take in the island of Cozumel which lies just off Mexico’s Caribbean coast; Grand Cayman, which boasts one of the Caribbean’s best beaches; and relax on the island of Jamaica.
Celebrity Cruises’ Modern Luxury Celebrity Cruises® is regularly voted one of the best cruise lines in the world, offering modern luxury voyages with unforgettable on-board experiences and spacious accommodation. From the chic main restaurants to the innovative speciality venues, dining is at the forefront of Celebrity Cruises®’ mind, and they take great pride in offering some of the best culinary experiences at sea. One of our favourite spots on the Celebrity Reflection has to be the Lawn Club – an acre of real grass on the top deck. Sunny days can go by with a charming picnic and game of croquet and a sundowner cocktail.
Cozumel The Mexican island of Cozumel is located just off the Yutacan Peninsula and boasts stunning beaches, a vibrant underwater world and a number of Mayan archaeological sites all waiting to be explored as part of a tour or at leisure. You can choose to visit the Chankanaab Eco Park, dive in the Arrecifes de Cozumel National Marine Park (for certified divers only) or see the Mayan ruins at Coba, all of which are available as optional excursions.
Breathtaking beaches The largest of the three Cayman Islands, Grand Cayman is a cosmopolitan destination that is encircled by blissful snow-white beaches from which you can experience an amazing underwater world. The most famous of Grand Cayman’s beaches is Seven Mile Beach, a five and a half mile crescent of sand on the island’s west coast. Enjoy island tours, snorkelling and diving excursions or even a submarine expedition of the island’s incredible coral reefs.
